Bring Hope to Eastern DRC

A Partnership with Hands of Mercy Foundation

In the heart of Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)—a region marked by ongoing war, instability, and natural disasters—Hands of Mercy Foundation is working to provide hope and practical care to orphans, widows, and vulnerable individuals.

Led by Chimanuka Silver, this Christ-centered organization is based in Chegera Village, Katana, South Kivu Province, and currently supports over 35 vulnerable children as well as widows and the elderly. They offer what they can: basic food, shelter, health care, and spiritual support. But the needs in their community have grown beyond their current resources.

As part of the Feed God’s Children Initiative, Nation Under Sail is partnering with Hands of Mercy Foundation to raise support for urgent humanitarian and spiritual needs in Eastern DRC.

This campaign seeks to supply:

  • Food assistance: Rice, flour, oil, beans, milk

  • Clothing and shoes: For children, widows, and the elderly

  • Basic medical and hygiene supplies

  • Spiritual resources: Bibles in French and Swahili, children’s Christian books, Sabbath School guides

Funding Goal: Ongoing
